Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
The moment you arrive in Mumbai, you’ll be given a traditional welcome by our representative. Soon after, you would be transferred to the hotel where you’ll be spending the night.
Day 02: Mumbai
Revitalize yourself with an early morning breakfast, after which you’ll be taken for a city tour of Mumbai. The major attractions covered include Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Mani Bhawan, Kamla Nehru Park, Dhobi Ghat, Afgan Church, Flora Fountain, Colorful Crawford Market, Marine Drive, Elephanta Caves and cut cave temples of Lord Shiva. After a wonderful trip, you’ll be driven back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Mumbai - Goa
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for a flight to Goa. On reaching Goa, you’ll be welcomed and escorted to the hotel for a check-in. The remaining time can spent in retreating back. Dinner and night’s rest will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Goa
Have a mouth-watering breakfast of traditional Goan delicacies. Thereafter, you’ll be out for a half day sightseeing excursion of Goa. The most popular places of interest are the mesmerizing slopes of Altinho Hill which offer scintillating views of Panjim and River Mandovi. A visit to Dona Paula would provide incredible views of India’s largest naturally formed Mormugao harbor. Soon after, you would be taken to Old Goa for visit to other tourist attractions like Basilica of Bom Jesus containing the tomb and mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, Se Cathedral - the biggest church in Goa, St. Cajetan Church built on the lines of Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, and Church and Convent of Saint Monica. After exploring these sites, come back to the hotel for a sumptuous supper and good night’s sleep.
Day 05: Goa
After gorging on a refreshing morning meal, you’ll have all the time to taste the beach flavor of Goa. This small state has gone high to earn the name of the “Beach Paradise of India”. Without experiencing the beach magnificence once you are in Goa, your soul will not be completely satisfied. Enjoy the entire day at the beach relaxing and indulging in fun-filled water activities. A return to the hotel for sleepover will end the day.
Day 06: Goa - Belgaum - Badami
Take an appetizing breakfast at the hotel, after which you’ll journey to Badami, en-route Belgaum. Belgaum Fort, sited in the heart of the city, comprises of Kamala Basti, Jain Temple and Jama Masjid. The most striking feature of this town is its location with the old and modern areas lying on opposite sides of the road. You can also visit Kapileshwar Temple and Ananthashayana Temple. Arrival at Badami will be at night. A check-in would be followed by night’s rest.
Day 07: Badami
Post breakfast, a full day tour of Badami will be organized. This town has a long list of attractions to keep visitors dropping here time and again. Gateways, forts, inscriptions, sculptures and rock-cut cave temples, want more! The ancient sandstone caves are the most exciting attraction, wherein you have to climb the stairs comprising to them. Besides, the group of Bhutanatha temples and a lake beneath them is another fascination. Eighteen inscriptions, dating back to different time periods from 6th to 9th centuries, are ever-ready to charm you. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet
Have a refreshing morning breakfast before leaving for Hospet, via Aihole and Pattadakal. Paying a visit to Aihole will be a different experience altogether because of the exciting architectural wonders blending cultures and histories. Aihole in fact, shot to fame due to the presence of these marvelous structures and hence, is known as the “Cradle of the Indian Architecture”. From here, you’ll move to Pattadakal. The temples of this hamlet are extremely glorifying as they reveal the early form of architecture of the Chalukyan Dynasty. You’ll then be journeyed to Hospet, your final destination for the day. Make a check-in at the hotel. Call it a day after enjoying a palatable dinner.
Day 09: Hospet
After a quick breakfast, you’ll head to explore the beauties of Hospet in detail. Hampi is the touristic significance of Hospet. The major attractions include Chitradurga Fort, Queen’s Bath, Vitthala Temple, Raghunath Temple, Virupaksha Temple, King’s Balance, Lotus Mahal and Royal Residence. Drive back to Hospet for dinner and night stay.
Day 10: Hospet - Hassan
Enjoy the wholesome delights offered for breakfast. Soon after, you’ll be taken to Hassan. Make a quick check-in and freshen up at the hotel. You’ll then head out for a sightseeing tour of Belur and Halebid. Both these temples cities exhibit a perfect example of the architecture of Hoysala Empire. Chennakesava Temple is the major highlight here, which took 103 years to complete. There are other temples which exude the rich heritage of this part of India. In the evening, you’ll return to Hassan for overnight stay.
Day 11: Hassan - Shravanabelagola - Hassan
Satiate your hunger with a flavorsome breakfast. Later on, you’ll be taken to Shravanabelagola, an artistic marvel, which is now one of the most significant Jain pilgrim centers. The monolith of Lord Bahubali, as the world’s tallest monolithic statue, is the major center of attraction for every visitor. Return to Hassan thereafter. The rest of the time will be at your disposal. Enjoy the delicious dinner served at the hotel’s restaurant, after which you can proceed for a restful sleep.
Day 12: Hassan - Madikeri
After a delectable morning meal, you’ll proceed to Madikeri, famously known as the “Scotland of India”. Upon arrival, a check-in at the hotel will be followed by a quick freshening up and rest session. A sightseeing tour of Madikeri will then be made. Major attractions include Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, and Nisargadhama. Nisargadhama is a great picnic spot enclosed by luxuriant greenery and salubrious climate. Return to the hotel will be in the evening.
Day 13: Madikeri - Mysore
An early morning breakfast will be followed by a drive to Mysore. When you reach Mysore, you’ll be accommodated in the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and move out for a city tour of Mysore. Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, 4.8 meter monolith statue of Nandi Bull, Brindavan Gardens and Musical fountains. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Mysore
After revitalizing with morning breakfast, you will set out for a full day excursion to Shravanabelagola, Belur Halebid, and Somnathpur. Among all attractions, the most popular is the statue of Lord Gomateshwara, which is ritually bathed with milk and sandalwood once in every twelve years. Other temple attractions are Chennakesava Temple of Belur and Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples of Halebid showcasing the rich masterpieces of Hindu art. At noon, you’ll visit Somnathpur where the wonderful architectural beauty will be eagerly waiting to enthrall you. End the day with a drive back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15: Mysore - Srirangapatna - Bangalore Departure
Start the day with a delightful breakfast. The first half of the day can be spent at leisure, strolling through the locale of Mysore. At noon, you’ll be driven to Bangalore via Srirangapatna, famously known as the capital of King Hyder Ali & his beloved son Tipu Sultan. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure for onward destination.
