Andhra Pradesh Heritage Package

Day 01: Arrival at Chennai
Our travel executive will greet you on your arrival at Chennai International Airport and accompany you to the hotel. Take time to relax and freshen up. Enjoy a lavish dinner at the hotel and doze off.

Day 02: Chennai - Tirupati
After breakfast, you’ll proceed to Tirupati, en-route Gudimallam. The 2nd century Shiva Temple is the highlight of this town. The temple is admired for its Linga which resides in the Garbhagriha of the temple. Your drive to Tirupati will continue then. On reaching Tirupati, one of the most sacred cities in Andhra Pradesh, make a check in at the hotel. Post dinner, you can go for a restful sleep.

Day 03: Tirupati
On the third day of your trip, you’ll visit the popular temples of Tirupati, post breakfast. Sri Balaji Temple is one of the most important pilgrimage centers of Hindus. The very sight of the temple is highly mesmerizing. Devotees line up in long queues to pay homage to the deities. Comprising of seven peaks, the temple is also known as the “Temple of Seven Hills”. The seven peaks are named as Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabhadri, Narayanadri, and Venkatadri. You’ll be taken to one of the best restaurants in town for a luxurious dinner. For night stay, you’ll come back to the hotel.

Day 04: Tirupati - Kadapa
After having a flavorsome breakfast in the morning, you’ll head towards Kadapa. En-route, you’ll make a visit to the famous and ancient temple of Srikalahasti - which has one of the five elements of Lord Shiva. The town is also famous for Kalamkari Painting. Later drive to Kadapa and make a check-in at the hotel on arrival for night stay.

Day 05: Kadapa - Nandyal
Early in the morning, you’ll visit the renowned 9th century Chola Temple at Pushpagiri, which means “hill of flowers”. The place offers fascinating sights of the hill and its heritage. From here, you’ll move to Nandyal. Upon your arrival, you’ll be accommodated in the hotel to spend the night.

Day 06: Nandyal - Kurnool
You’ll visit Nandi Temple after having a delectable breakfast. The temple houses the fourth biggest Nandi in India. After paying respect and capturing memories of the temple, you’ll proceed to Kurnool. When you reach, make a check-in at the hotel and get ready for an evening picnic to Alampur. Situated 30 km ahead of Kurnool, Alampur has a great significance behind its existence. The city is famous for its ancient Navabhramma temples, commonly known as Nine Shiva Temples, and the meeting of two major rivers - Tungabhadra and Krishna. Return back for overnight stay at Kurnool.

Day 07: Kurnool - Srisailam
After an appetizing morning meal, you’ll be driven to Srisailam. After a five hour journey, you’ll arrive at Srisailiam. A check-in at the hotel will be followed by a drive to Mallikarjuna Temple. Also known as Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple, it is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Return back to the hotel for night’s rest.

Day 08: Srisailam - Nagarjuna
Start the day with a tummy-filling breakfast. Thereafter, you’ll embark a six-hour journey to the next destination in-line - Nagarjuna. Upon arrival, a quick check-in at the hotel will be followed by a one-hour boat ride to Nagarjuna Konda Island. Here, visits will be made to Buddhist museum and various monuments. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09: Nagarjuna - Amaravathi - Vijayawada
An early morning meal will be followed by a road journey to Amaravathi. Here, sightseeing will be done of the Archeological Museum and village activities. The museum is the site for enrichment of Buddhism and hence, boasts of historical significance. It also has a 2000 year old stupa. Later on, you’ll be driven to Vijayawada. To spend the night, you’ll be accommodated in a hotel.

Day 10: Vijayawada
Freshen up and indulge in mouth-watering delicacies at breakfast. Get ready for a city tour of Vijayawada. The major highlight of the city is Undavalli Caves, built in the 7th century. The picturesque view of the caves is breathtaking, as they are surrounded by lush green countryside. The architecture applied in the construction of the caves is regarded as the finest testimonial of ancient Vishwakarma Sthapathis. You’ll also be visiting Kanaka Durga Temple, which holds an important place in the scriptures since many Shiva - leelas and Shakti - mahimas were enacted on or around it. The day will end with a drive back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 11: Vijayawada - Hyderabad
After a relishing breakfast, you’ll proceed to Hyderabad - the City of Pearls. A short break will be taken at Kondapalli, famous for its traditional homemade wooden toys. The toys made by the villagers are very antique and attractive in looks. You’ll then be journeyed to Hyderabad. Post a check-in at the hotel, have your dinner and call it a day.

Day 12: Hyderabad
The day will start with a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Soon after, you’ll be taken for a full day sightseeing of the Hyderabad city. You’ll be paying a visit to all renowned places that have some significance hidden behind their existence. Charminar, Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tomb, HITECH City, Mecca Masjid, Salarjung Museum, Falaknuma Palace, Hussain Sagar Lake, Ramoji Film City and The Birla Planetarium and Science Museum are the top tourist attractions. Return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 13: Hyderabad Departure
Breakfast will be served to you at the hotel. You’ll then be dropped at the departure junction of the airport to catch a flight for onward journey.
